Can’t Come Down Blues was released today. While it started as sort of a spacey ethereal piece, around 1:51 it settles into more of a “space blues.” The title refers to that feeling where, you know, maybe that wasn’t a microdose after all, and you have to get through the situation you’re in despite the circumstances.

Some patch notes:
Random and semi-random into three of the four channels of Shakmat Bard Quartet. All of the positions around the harmony knob are populated with slightly different chord voicings. A slow stepping voltage moves between those different chord voicings more or less in timed intervals, providing creepy and sad movements. I like a lot of the changes, but my favorite moment in the song happens at the drop at 5:36. It just feels like an emotional disintegration of some sort.
