Blue-Haired Girl is an older track, but I’m only now getting around to releasing it. Contrary to the popular vernacular, in the parlance of our times, the term “blue-haired girl” is in no way pejorative in this case. It was inspired by an incident in which I was sitting in a motel parking lot eating fast food, minding my own business, when a young couple arrived and began making out on the hood of their car. At one point she was sitting on the car, legs somewhat akimbo, and he was standing in front of it between her legs, and clearly manipulating her beneath her skirt, in a very public parking area, not an obvious care given to whether anyone could see or was actively watching.
